Consultancy: We Are Ocean Inclusive Activism

There are lots of projects that happen in the background of my work with my nonprofit All The Elements that we don't really talk about. Often that's because the outputs are implemented behind closed doors, so it's lovely to be able to share a project that will hopefully make an impact on inclusion in the ocean activism space AND has a handy graphic that can be shared more publicly!

When I was invited by Linzi Hawkin (Protect Blue) to contribute towards a We Are Ocean project to make the ocean space more inclusive, I jumped at the chance. I worked directly in the ocean space for 6 years before launching All The Elements and, obviously, inclusion in the outdoors is the centre of my current work.

One of the outcomes from this collaboration was this beautiful infographic on 10 ways to be an inclusive ocean activist. This guide was built with brilliant creatives Jasmine Hortop & Caro from Studio Boken.

If you are working in oceans, I would encourage you to read and share. And even if you are not working in oceans, most of the messaging is transferable to other sectors, so I'd still encourage you to read and share. Also check out Linzi’s other work in the ocean space with Protect Blue.
