Working with National Parks UK and Green Space Dark Skies, I am interviewing inspiring individuals for the National Parks newsletter feature - Postcards from the Parks. These interviews explore their relationships with nature, National Parks, their work and passions in the outdoors and their involvement with the exciting Green Space Dark Skies project which is bringing together 20,000 people in our public spaces this year.

Inspired by Nature: Frankie Dewar - Sheffield-based Frankie Dewar is an adventurer, podcaster and joy seeker. After rejecting her outdoorsy upbringing, she has found her way back to natural spaces through adventure and community.
Inspired by Nature: Charlotte Ditchburn - A Lake District native, Charlotte Ditchburn works full time in the access sector and spends her free time advocating access and getting as many people outdoors and enjoying nature as she can. She is an ambassador for Ordnance Survey and British Canoeing, as well as a Hill and Moorland leader.
Inspired by Nature: Neill Sanders - Keen outreach astronomer Neill Sanders wants to make stargazing as accessible as possible. He is the founder of not-for-profit project Go Stargazing, which helps you to get the best experience of the UK’s dark skies.
Inspired by Nature: George Hassall - More commonly known as ‘Green-fingered George’, 17-year-old George Hassall wants to encourage everyone to make their green spaces more wildlife friendly – whether that’s a windowsill or a community garden. For his latest project, he is transforming his grandmother’s garden.
Inspired by Nature: Haleema Ali - Haleema Ali is an artist, activist and educator, who uses creativity to inspire social change. After connecting with nature in a deeper way during the UK lockdown, she is finding creative ways to share her experiences of nature and spirituality with new audiences.
Inspired by Nature: Ian Whiteside - Mental health practitioner and outdoor leader Ian Whiteside describes himself as an “outdoor enthusiast and nature nerd”. He helps people to access the benefits of nature and find purpose in feeling part of something that is bigger than themselves through his non-profit Trek Therapy.
